Another great place to visit is Boston, Massachusetts.
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Boston (pronounced /ˈbɒstən/) is the capital and largest city of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The city is located in Suffolk County, Massachusetts, in the northeastern United States. The largest city in New England, Boston is considered the economic and cultural center of the entire region. The city, which had an estimated population of 599,351 in 2007, lies at the center of the Cambridge–Boston-Quincy metropolitan area—the 10th-largest metropolitan area in the U.S., with a population of 4.5 million.
I've visited Boston this year (2008). Very wonderful place. A lot of attraction places from history and a modern city life mixed together in this metropolitan area. I spend 3 days 2 night here. At Double Tree Hotel, i got a welcome cookie from the reception when i enter. Very delicious! A good start for me in Boston. This city is not too big for you to walk. Ask for the map of Freedom Trail and walk around the city by yourself. Another way is to follow the tour guide. It's a great exercise and you can explore the history by your feet.
When you feel tired of walking you can take the "T", Boston Subway, to go to China Town or whether you want. Feels free to feed squirrels at boston common or finding the ducks in Public Garden. ;)
